Loudoun County’s New Comprehensive Plan – The Time is Now to Provide Input Online!
Loudoun County is in the process of creating a new road map for our future growth by revising their Comprehensive Plan. A good read to catch you up on the effort can be found here – https://www.loudoun.gov/newcompplan
The Dulles Area Association of REALTORS is proud to have been appointed to Comprehensive Plan Stakeholder’s Committee, comprised of citizens and representatives from various business, homeowner, developer and environmental groups in the county. Although the Committee is set to meet monthly for the next fourteen months to come up with a new plan, input from the community is needed to help create a plan that is inclusive of all ideas designed to help generate a strong plan for the future.
The development of a community vision for Loudoun County’s new comprehensive plan, initiated at the Envision Loudoun Listening and Learning Workshops continues online.
Interactive comment and mapping exercises, available at www.EnvisionLoudoun.org mirror those completed by more than 900 people who attended workshops in November and December. Anyone who was unable to attend one of the workshops is encouraged to participate in the online exercises, which can be completed in just a few minutes. The online responses will be compiled and recorded along with the comments already collected at the Listening and Learning Workshops.
This particular online engagement tool for Envision Loudoun is scheduled to be available through early January 2017 and is designed to help the Envision Loudoun team engage with as many residents, business owners and other stakeholders as possible.
Envision Loudoun addresses growth, land use, transportation, community facilities and amenities, economic development and fiscal management. More information is available at www.EnvisionLoudoun.org or by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please consider joining others who care about the future of Loudoun County and share ideas through fun, interactive activities in casual, small-group settings. This is the first of three rounds of community input, which will become the foundation of Envision Loudoun. Don’t miss this opportunity to share your ideas for the future of Loudoun County.
