Let Us Know How the New Bright Off-MLS Policy Impacts Your Business

Bright MLS announced a new policy on Tuesday, October 15th, 2019 that requires submitting a listing within 1 business day of marketing to the public effective Wednesday, October 16th, 2019.  FAQs can be found  here.  A fine of $5,000 will be imposed on Sunday, December 1st, 2019 for non-compliance. They also provided additional clarification via a video message from Bright MLS Chairman John Coile here.

Given the level of feedback received from members, the DAAR Board of Directors met in an emergency meeting on Thursday, October 17th, 2019 to review and discuss the concerns you shared with us.  As a result, the DAAR Board of Directors is seeking additional counsel to review options and next steps.

In the meantime, we recommend that agents take time to share their concerns with their brokers and that both agents and brokers take time to share concerns directly to Bright at offmlslistings@brightmls.com and the Bright MLS Board of Directors .
