Dulles Area Association of REALTORS® Prepares for Annual Economic Summit
The Dulles Area Association of REALTORS® (DAAR) is hard at work preparing for its 2020 Economic Summit, which will be held on March 6th at the Loudoun County School Administrative Building. Attendees will learn what’s in store for
housing and other aspects of the local economy from three expert guest speakers. Final touches are being put in place for the summit, which is expected to welcome more than 125 attendees.

The Economic Summit has been one of DAAR’s most prominent annual events for 12 years. Attending REALTORS® and members of the general public will learn about housing and economic trends and hear expert forecasts for 2020 and thereafter.

The DAAR Economic Summit will welcome three guest speakers to the stage, including National Association of REALTORS® Senior Economist and Director of Forecasting Nadia Evangelou, who will speak about current residential and commercial
market trends on the national and Northern Virginia levels, and beyond. Director of the Loudoun County Department of Economic Development Buddy Rizer will give a presentation about projected economic development and growth in Loudoun
County with an eye on Metrorail, data centers and key industry target areas. Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond Vice President and Regional Executive Renee Haltom will speak about economic growth prospects, residential and non-residential
sector outlooks and sources of uncertainty.

This week, DAAR staff and volunteers are finalizing the guest registration roster and confirming refreshment orders, eager to perfect the minutia surrounding the popular event as it nears.

The 2020 DAAR Economic Summit is a ticketed event that will be held on March 6, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Loudoun County School Administration Building, which is located at 21000 Education Court, Ashburn, Virginia, 20148.
