DAAR Office Reopening Update
DAAR Office Open: Masks Required for Unvaccinated
Based on the Governor’s new orders, DAAR will adopt the following rules for the office. These rules will remain in-place until Governor Northam further refines his executive orders.
- Fully vaccinated individuals will not be required to wear facial coverings inside the DAAR office or at DAAR in-person events. DAAR will not be asking for proof of vaccinations, as we trust our members.
- Anyone who is fully vaccinated is welcome to wear facial coverings, if that is how they feel most safe. No one will be questioned or made to feel uncomfortable because of their personal choices, on this or any matter.
- Unvaccinated and not yet fully vaccinated guests are required to wear facial coverings while inside the DAAR office, unless actively eating and drinking.
With these rules in place, DAAR plans to restart in-person meetings and events.

DAAR Office Open: Limited Capacity
The DAAR office is open and retaining normal business hours. The office has been fully prepped with safety precautions (i.e. masks, sanitizing wipes, etc.). Due to the ongoing health concerns, a maximum of 10 people will be allowed inside the DAAR office at once.
If you are visiting the DAAR office, please wear a mask and stick to the social distancing guideline of at least 6ft. between you and another person. If you’ve like to make an appointment with a DAAR staff member, reach out to info@dullesarea.com or call 703-777-2468.
The DAAR store will continue to accept orders and we will continue the free delivery program.

DAAR Office to Soft Open During Phase 2 Re-Opening of NOVA
As Northern Virginia enters Phase 2 of reopening in accordance with Governor Northam’s announcement, DAAR has taken the safety of our staff and members into consideration as we plan a “soft-opening,” beginning June 15, 2020.
The DAAR office will be opening in stages, with the full consensus of the DAAR staff, and retaining normal business hours. The office has been fully prepped with safety precautions (i.e. masks, sanitizing wipes, etc.).
Stage one of DAAR’s “soft opening” will consist of in-office staff rotation starting June 15, 2020. At that time, only staff will be permitted into the office.
Stage two will begin on June 22, 2020 with all office visits to be by appointment only. If you are visiting the DAAR office, please wear a mask and stick to the social distancing guideline of at least 6ft. between you and another person. Please reach out to info@dullesarea.com to schedule an appointment with any DAAR staff member.

DAAR Office to Remain Closed During Initial Phase 1 Re-Opening of NOVA
As Northern Virginia enters Phase 1 of reopening in accordance with Governor Northam’s announcement, DAAR has taken the safety of our staff and members into consideration as we plan a “soft-opening,” but for now the office will remain closed.
The DAAR office will be opening in stages, with the full consensus of the DAAR staff. How the office copes with reopening will be consulted on a weekly basis and a safety, action plan is in development. Confirmed updates will be communicated out to membership as soon as possible.
Once the office has been fully prepped with safety precautions (i.e. masks, sanitizing wipes, etc.), stage one of DAAR’s “soft opening” will consist of any office visits are to be by appointment only.
