SentriLock FAQ – Regional Lockbox Customization

If you are going to place your lockbox on a listing outside of your primary association’s region or area, you may need to customize the lockbox’s region. Without customizing the region, SentriLock users outside of your association may be unable to access your lockbox. If you are placing your lockbox in an association that services a region or area that is in another state, you will most likely need to customize the region of your lockbox.

To Customize the Region:

  1. Open the SentriKey Real Estate App and select the three lines in the top-left corner of the home page.
  2. Select ‘My Lockboxes’.
  3. Select ‘Assign/Unassign Property’.
  4. Find the lockbox you’d like to assign by typing in the serial number in the search bar at the top of the page and click ‘Search’.
  5. Select the lockbox that you would like to assign.
  6. Tap the date under ‘On Listing Since’ and change the date if needed.
  7. Tap ‘Assign to Property’ at the bottom of the screen.
  8. Select a Region, if applicable.
  9. Tap Confirm.

Please note: If your lockbox has already been assigned to a property, you will need to unassign it before following the instructions above.

Note: If your primary association has full reciprocity with the association that services the region or area you are placing your lockbox in, you do not need to customize the lockbox. If you have questions about reciprocity, contact SentriLock Support at 1-513-618-5800
