SentriLock Improves Security and Reliability

Sentrilock infoSentriLock will implement changes by the end of the year that will make the SentriLock system more secure and reliable.

On October 11th, 2017 SentriLock will no longer be sending information by SMS. If you have been receiving notifications by SMS you will automatically be switched and have those messages sent to both the Message Center in the SentriSmart™ app and to your email. However, the SMS notification will still be sent to emergency contacts through the Agent Safety Feature.

On January 1st, 2018 SentriLock will require you to change your passwords. They have established minimum password requirements to make their systems even more secure.  The new passwords will require six {6) characters, with one {1) upper case letter, one {1) lower case letter, and one {1) numeric value. You can update your passwords on the website or through the SentriSmart™ app.

Finally, on January 11th, 2018 each account will be required to have its own unique email address.  This will also make their systems even more secure and can be updated on the SentriLock website or with the SentriSmart™ app.

Members can also read more about the changes in the SentriLock Customer Newsletter September 2017.

You will start receiving notifications and prompts in the upcoming weeks that will remind you of the changes and how to proceed.
