7:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. REALTOR® Prayer Breakfast (Ticketed) featuring: Captain Gregory C. “Cory” Cathcart, Chaplain to the Navy SEALs  Chaplain Cathcart completed 5 combat tours with the SEALs and presided over the final services for 28 of our nation’s greatest heroes. He will share his personal experience ministering to our nation’s warriors and their families and the indelible impact this had on his own family and faith.

9:00 a.m. – 9:15 p.m. President’s Welcome, Beckwith Bolle, Virginia REALTORS® 2019 President

9:15 a.m. 10:15 a.m.     Dr. Bob Holsworth, Managing Partner, DecideSmart, Virginia Politics: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow  Discussion of the changing political landscape of Virginia in light of the 2018 federal elections and the coming 2019 state elections with Q&A.

10:15 a.m. 11:00 a.m.    Jessica Lautz, Vice President of Demographics and Behavioral Insights, National Association of REALTORS® Avocado Toast for One, Please: There are a lot of myths surrounding the housing market today. This presentation will help dispel the myths and cover who is really buying homes, how they are purchasing homes, and the hurdles to enter the market. The presentation will inform on how buyers and sellers are working with agents and what they want most from their agents.
