All April Classes Now Online

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, DAAR has transitioned all of our April classes to online classes. None of our April classes will be held in-person. If you would like to cancel your registration, please email our education department.

We will be using Zoom Video Communications to hold our April classes. Attendees will need the following technology to attend classes on Zoom:

  • an internet connection
  • a laptop, desktop, smartphone or tablet with a camera, microphone and keyboard (onscreen or standalone)
  • ability to attend the course during instruction periods without interruption

Registration Process

To attend a course, members must register for the course on our website and again with Zoom prior to the course starting. Please follow the steps below to make sure you are registered and prepared on your class start date.

Step 1

Register for the course on our website. Visit this link to access our course calendar. You will receive a registration confirmation once you complete your website registration.

Step 2

Approximately one week prior to your class start date, you will receive a reminder email with an invitation to register for your class in Zoom. Click the Zoom link to register for your class. Once you register, you will receive the details for your class,  including the date, time and URL to join the meeting. You will also have the option to add the event to your calendar. This calendar reminder will have the link you use to join your class on its start date.

Step 3

Two days prior to your class starting, you will receive an email with a link to your course materials. Follow the instructions to download your course materials.

*NOTE* If you register on our website for a class less than 48 hours before its start time, please contact staff to complete your registration process and get your course materials.

Access Your Course Materials

Once you have registered for a course, you will receive a link to access your course materials. Please feel free to print your course materials or download and save them on your device.

Zoom Attendance Information

If you do not register for your course on Zoom prior to it starting, you will not be able to access the course.

When the course starts, attendees will enter a waiting room. The course moderator will transfer attendees from the waiting room into the course.

CE course attendees can only miss five minutes per hour of class. Attendees who miss more than the allotted amount of class, as determined by the instructor or the moderator, may complete the course, but will not receive CE/PLE credit.

If you have already registered for a course, you will receive the Zoom registration link prior to the course start date.

Starting today, when you register for a course, you will recieve the Zoom registration link prior to the course start date.

Technical Support

If you need technological support with your course, the Virginia REALTORS® Tech Helpline may be able to help. Here is a link to their website.
