Saying Good Bye to Gene

Gene Mock PhotoDAAR is sad to share the news of Gene Mock’s passing.  Gene was a dedicated DAAR member for over 12 years and was heavily involved in the REALTOR® community.  Gene won DAAR’s REALTOR® of the Year Award in 2014 and multiple Circle of Excellence Awards throughout his career.  He was a RPAC Major Investor and sat on DAAR’s Board of Directors for several years.

Gene sat on the following National Association of REALTORS® committees:

  • Global Business and Alliances Committee
  • Public Policy Coordinating Committee

He also held the following Virginia REALTORS® appointments:

  • Chair, RPAC Trustees
  • RPAC Selection Committee
  • Public Policy Committee
  • Honor Society (2017)

At DAAR, Gene was involved in the following Committees:

  • VP, Public Policy Committee
  • Governmental Affairs Committee
