The Accredited Buyer Representative – Coming in 2016
The Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) is a skill that will help REALTORS® change the way they do business and cater to clients at every stage in the home buying process. This designation will gain a unique understanding of home buyers’ needs and how to best serve them, specialized information to stay on top of home buying issues and trends, and exclusive resources to share with clients and give a competitive edge.

The Certified Residential Specialist
The Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation is the highest credential awarded to residential sales agents, managers, and brokers. On average, CRS designees earn nearly three times more in income, transactions, and gross sales than non-designee REALTORS®.
Through NAR’s Green Designation, the Green REsource Council provides ongoing education, resources and tools to help real estate practitioners find, understand, and market properties with green features.
Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) – Coming in 2016
The Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) is a powerful tool to attract and build new business. It increases the skill level across the entire landscape of real estate with in-depth training in legal and regulatory issues, technology, professional standards, and the sales process.
Graduate REALTOR Institute (GRI)
The Virginia Graduate REALTOR® Institute program has been transformed with an updated curriculum, condensed and online courses, flexible hours, dual CE/PL and GRI credit as well as the ability for local associations to offer the courses.
A REALTOR® with a GRI designation represents an in-depth training in legal and regulatory issues, technology, professional standards, and the sales process.
